In The Zone

 At Life Lounge this month we are trying something a bit different: an evening of entertainment.
Our business at BWIS is mental health and wellbeing. Often that’s about dealing with life challenges, about staying motivated and resilient when things get tough. About getting our basic needs met well enough to function healthily.
 
But it’s also about focusing on the good stuff, finding the pleasure and the excitement. That might involve the need to be seen and heard, or for an outlet for creativity and self-expression. Those ones can be a bit nervy or intimidating: we often hear people say they could never get up and speak in front of an audience.
 
So what’s the value of stepping outside our comfort zone, of feeling the fear and doing it anyway? Keeping comfortable can mean always staying where we are and never achieving our full potential. If you never try you never know what you might do.

The best approach is often to stretch our comfort zones carefully and without moving into stress. That can give us the feeling of greater control, creating choice and self-direction. It also helps improve mental health by building self-esteem and confidence in the process.
 
Our entertainment theme aims to link expression with wellbeing. Come and enjoy it and take some time off from life challenges. If there’s a part of you that feels moved to join in, why not give it permission to have a go June Life Lounge.

Everyone is welcome to Life Lounge on 2nd Thurs each month 7.00pm at Quay Place. On Thurs 13 Jun we present BWIS Entertains! Come and enjoy a relaxing evening on us: join in if you wish to. Reserve your FREE place online at The Life Lounge. 

COACH TRAINING
Our renowned foundation course in Life Coaching Skills will run again in the Autumn. The next FREE taster event is on Sat 29 June at 10.00 – come and find out how learning coaching can change your life and work. 


PEER SUPPORT
Drop into the E.Gym at Quay Place Ipswich, 6.30-7.30pm first Weds of every month, and join us for some Emotional keep-fit.Confirm via Meet up Link or email Sue. The next Peer Support training begins June 25th.
