A few months after the rebranded consumer website launched, RAK TDA has unveiled its new corporate website under the domain www.raktda.com. The new corporate website, a first in the history of the Authority, focuses on the B2B audience and features essential information from all the departments under RAKTDA. The new website serves as a perfect platform to continue moving forward positively, enriching our industry and other stakeholder relationships, and achieving our targets of continuous growth and development of a sustainable and competitive tourism industry in Ras Al Khaimah. |

Ras Al Khaimah Commits To United Nations’ Year Of Sustainable Tourism For Development
Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority has committed the emirate to support the United Nations’ 2017 campaign that aims to promote a more sustainable global tourism landscape.
The campaign theme, which coincides with the ‘Road Map for Celebrating Together’, “presents a unique opportunity to explore and highlight tourism’s potential to help transform our world into a place of prosperity and wellbeing for all,” according to UNWTO.
Following signatory of its support, RAK TDA CEO Haitham Mattar said the Authority will now look to drive awareness of tourism’s economic and socio-economic role throughout all its 2017 initiatives.

Twin Wins! Ras Al Khaimah Scoops Prestigious Awards And Are Eyeing More
Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority has scooped two prestigious awards on the sidelines of this year’s ITB, further highlighting the destination’s appeal on the global stage.
Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) recognized Ras Al Khaimah as the ‘Emerging Tourism Destination of 2017’, while the emirate’s landmark ‘Beyond A Journey’ destination video picked up the coveted first place region award at GOLDEN CITYGATE 2017.
RAK TDA has also been shortlisted for 3 categories in the Transform MENA Awards - the only awards programme recognizing the best brand work across the Middle East and North Africa. The Authority is also nominated for Best Arabian Tourism Board and Best Tourist Attraction (Via Ferrata) in the upcoming Arabian Travel Awards.
