What is ‘Healthy Food Made Easy’?
‘Healthy Food Made Easy’ is a six week nutrition education programme which aims to provide practical information on healthy eating and improve skills by showing participants ways to provide healthy, nutritious, low cost meals and snacks for their families.
Training for Healthy Food Made Easy (HFME) Leaders will be provided FREE by Healthy Galway City, in partnership with the HSE Community Nutrition and Dietetics Department to people who already have an identified group to deliver the course with and have access to kitchen facilities for the delivery of future courses. Trained leaders would ideally be able to deliver the Healthy Food Made Easy programme as part of their current role as there is no funding available to organisations for delivery.
