December Plenary & Community Celebration 4th December Reminder
All GCCN members are invited to the final GCCN Plenary meeting of 2019 that will take place on December 4th at 6.30pm (registration from 6pm) in the Menlo Park Hotel.
As has become the tradition, the members meeting will take place from 6.30pm to 8pm and it will be followed by a celebration of the contribution made by GCCN members in 2019.

Climate Action Training Irish Environmental Network 30th November
The Irish Environmental Network would like to invite you to attend a day of Climate Action Training this November 30th, 10am - 3.30pm in Dublin or live stream.
There are three action-orientated workshops taking place.
From National to Local - How to use the National Climate Action Plan in local work, with Simon O'Rafferty
Understanding Access to Information on the Environment (AIE) requests, with Fred Logue
Rewilding and Biodiversity, with Pádraic Fogarty

Consultation on a Review of Sustainable Mobility Policy 14th November 2019 - 24th January 2020
The Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport has launched a public consultation to review Ireland’s sustainable mobility (active travel and public transport) policy.
The review work arises from a commitment in the Programme for a Partnership Government to review public transport policy “to ensure services are sustainable into the future and are meeting the needs of a modern economy”.
The public consultation is designed to give stakeholders, interested parties and the general public the opportunity to reflect on the information and analysis in the papers, to share their views and to contribute to the development of a Sustainable Mobility Policy Statement.

The public consultation commenced on 14th November 2019 and will conclude on 24th January 2020.
