Joint PI Meeting for the NSF BIGDATA Research and the NSF Big Data Hubs and Spokes Programs

June 20-22
Alexandria, VA

For more information and to register, click here: https://www.bi.vt.edu/nsf-big-data-2018

This three-day workshop is designed to bring together key stakeholders in NSF's Big Data programs. California Water Data Challenge

June 26
San Francisco, CA

For more information and to register, click here: http://waterchallenge.data.ca.gov/

Annually, up to 1 million Californians lack access to clean, safe drinking water at some point during the year. Droughts and other disruptions in water supply can limit or eliminate access to safe drinking water for days, months, or years. Some communities have been exposed to unsafe water for more than a decade.

The Safe Drinking Water Data Challenge is designed to explore data’s potential to help us better understand community access to safe drinking water, anticipate vulnerabilities, and identify and deploy solutions.

Register for the kickoff event via the link above, and learn more about how you can get involved!
