Happy New Year and Happy Statehood Day, Utah!

I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season! Today also marks the 125th anniversary of Utah becoming a state! Happy birthday to the best state in the nation, and a huge congratulations to our newly-inaugurated Gov Cox and Lt Gov Henderson! I look forward to working with them for the betterment of our community.

There is a lot to look forward to this new year including the 2021 Legislative Session that is less than two weeks away.

I will be hosting a virtual town hall tomorrow, Tuesday, January 5th at 7pm. Click HERE to register to get the link to join us. We are also still accepting results for our 2021 priorities survey, so please fill it out if you haven't already!

2021 Priorities Survey
As we approach the 2021 Legislative session, I want to hear from you. If you haven't already, please take this survey so I can hear about the issues and concerns on your mind.
2021 General Session

The 2021 General Legislative Session starts on Monday, January 19th—that's less than two weeks away! As such, I thought it would be a good idea share information and resources on how you can make your voice heard at the capitol during this unconventional year.

Unsurprisingly, things will be slightly different this year due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic. Legislators and members of the public will be able to listen to and participate in meetings virtually. Click HERE to learn how to watch/listen to legislative proceedings. Click HERE to learn how you can offer public comment on a bill that you care about.

If you are curious about some of the bills I am working on this session, you can click here to see a working list. More info coming in future newsletters!
COVID-19 Updates
Vaccine Distribution
Very happy to see our first responders receiving the COVID vaccine! Our Sandy City Fire Department and Sandy City Police Department first responders do so much for our community!

While the vaccine is wonderful news, we are months away from widespread availability. Please stay strong and continue to do your part to reduce the spread of the virus. #WashHands #MaskUpUtah #PhysicalDistancing
