Ballots will be mailed to active, registered voters today, and will arrive in your mail shortly. In Salt Lake County, return postage is pre-paid. If you are mailing your ballot, it must be postmarked no later than November 2nd. However, ballot drop boxes will be available for you to deposit your ballot up until 8pm on Election Night (November 3rd). Don't forget - ballot drop boxes are different than USPS mail boxes! Click here to find a drop box location near you.
This year, there are 7 statewide ballot questions! To view the supporting and opposing arguments for each question, please click here to the Voter Information Pamphlet. This document is designed to help all Utahns participate in one of our most fundamental duties as Americans.

Serving as your representative has been one of the great honors of my life. I am grateful for each and every one of you who have joined our team and worked to make our community better. With just three weeks until election day, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my legislative record in a few key areas. I pledge to keep working with civility, bipartisanship, and effectiveness for all people in House District 32.
HB 195: I sponsored this bill gave our state the tools to find and analyze wasteful healthcare spending so we can reduce costs for all Utahns. It passed.
HB 207: Co-sponsored legislation to reduce the cost of insulin. Passed.
HB 177: This bill requires, with some exceptions, that controlled substances to be written by electronic prescription by Jan 2022. This bill is an important tool to combat fraud, diversion, and abuse of controlled substances in Utah by making prescriptions more secure.
Sponsored legislation that secured funding for school based mental therapy sessions for uninsured or under-insured children.
Opposed SJR 9: This was the resolution that put Amendment G on our ballot this year. I will be voting NO on Amendment G because I fear our already underfunded education system would struggle if it were to pass. This amendment would expand the uses of income tax revenue to support programs for children and people with disabilities. While I support funding these programs, this amendment presents a false choice— I believe there is another way to adequately fund both these priorities without pitting them against each other. HB 208: Sponsored legislation that prioritized safe walking routes for kids who walk to school.
Voted to increase public education investment by $140 Million
Voted to restore funding for stipends for National Board Certified Educators
Voted to restore funding for Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind
Voted to restore funding for educator preparation scholarships, incentivizing our brightest to pursue teaching as a profession
Sponsored HCR 3 to encourage the purchase of Tier 3 Gasoline
Launched Tier3Gas.org to empower consumers with the knowledge they need to start cleaning up our air by filling up their gas tanks with Tier 3 Gasoline
Ran legislation that encouraged Utahns to purchase Alternative Fuel Vehicles
Filed legislation for the 2021 legislative session to encourage our state to invest in electric vehicles when upgrading our fleet
Emergency Management and Law Enforcement
HB 188: After our community faced a water contamination event. I sponsored and passed legislation that will help residents get life-saving information right to their cell phones instead of relying on slower and often ineffective communication methods.
Voter for SB0129 – Tier II Retirement (2019)
Increased pension for Tier II police officers and firefighters from 37% to 50%
Voted for HB 43 -Peace Officer Standards and Training
This was meant to ensure impartial and fair investigations into officer misconduct—it included safeguards for officers.
