It was great to see so many families enjoying themselves at the ADSA Children's Christmas Party on 20 November - despite extremely unpredictable weather! See below for a list of all the organisations and individuals who helped make this fun get-together such a success!
  • Bapcor NZ Limited - for funding the event
  • Kiwi Valley Farm - for a great place to host the party
  • Pukeko Cafe - delicious chips
  • Facepainters - Mia and Edith Foulds and their mum Jane Rickit for painting for two and a half hours straight
  • Mara Sommer - for taking amazing pictures on the day
  • Our extra last minute helpers – Jamna Patel, Sarah McConnell, and Iris Guo. These lovely volunteers were called in at the last minute – and we REALLY appreciated their help.
  • SANTA - for donning his big red suit and joining the party!

Registrations are NOW OPEN for our next course.  This will be held ONLINE again following the extremely positive feedback from August 2022.  This is a 2-day workshop for SENCO's, teachers, teacher aides, Outreach teachers, parents and anyone involved in educating our young people with Down syndrome, and others with different learning styles.  It is mainly attended by Primary schools, and we would really love to see more parents and carers attending.
