This is for people with Down syndrome age 18+ and is run by your peers in the self-advocacy group.  IT’s a great way to meet new people, chat about whats on your mind – and making some new friends.  It’s on ZOOM – so you can do this from ANYWHERE in NZ.  Join via Zoom: Meeting ID: 869 9522 9182, Passcode: 138344
An enormous THANK YOU to all who contributed items for our auction - and do those who did the bidding too! It was a tremendous success, and lots of fun too. Overall we raised over $5000 through your support of the online auction. We can't thank you enough!

NZDSA are doing a little fundraiser to help cover the costs of the amazing virtual conference they provided us with in October.  21 incredible information sessions.  Please donate if you can afford to ensure that NZDSA can keep providing these events.  It is an incredible way to get information from experts and ask questions – rather than asking google or Facebook!
NZDSA have several information sessions coming up via ZOOM.  Online sessions are amazing for many reasons:
  1. You can meet others at the same stage
  2. You can get amazing information from people who are very well researched.
  3. You can ask questions and get an answer
  4. These amazing presenters are available to you FREE!  Normally it would cost $$$$$
  5. Information is power.  Good information will help you improve the of your loved one with Down syndrome.
