Association Council Meeting
Thursday, April 27
Pastors, please join us Thursday, April 27, at LifeBasics Church in Southwood for our Association Council meeting. The special guest will be Gary Townsend, North Region Catalyst for the Florida Baptist Convention.
We’ll gather at 10:30 a.m. for fellowship, with our meeting starting at 11 a.m. and lunch following. Our meeting time will include:
1. A welcome from Don McLaughlin, FBA President and pastor of LifeBasics Church;
2. A greeting and update of convention happenings from Gary Townsend;
3. A celebration of what occurred at Easter experiences with our churches;
4. An update on implementation of focus group recommendations;
5. A time of prayer for our churches.
You are a critically important part of our work and I hope you’ll make this gathering a priority. I look forward to seeing you and a church representative April 27 at LifeBasics Church, 3197 Merchants Row Blvd, Suite 130, in Southwood Town Center.

With more than 3,000 exclusive training videos you can’t get anywhere else, Ministry Grid provides training by leading ministry experts for every ministry area from the parking lot to the pulpit.
This is just a demo, and only available to the first 10 pastors who contact me to access it. Once we see the viability for our churches, we will continue our negotiations with LifeWay to attempt to secure a permanent subscription. Or, if you, as a pastor, see the viability, you can purchase a subscription for your church.

Lee Howell, who has served as Director of the SGICR, has submitted his resignation to accept the position of Family Ministries / Discipleship Pastor of Deer Park Baptist Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
