Ready, Set, Launch!

This coming Sunday, 8/28/2016, the Fostering Our Future Initiative will be taking off in 3 local churches! Please pray for our Pastors and Ministry Team Leaders as they lead the way on raising awareness for the need of foster parents and support volunteers for our vulnerable children in Osceola County! You're not going to want to miss it! Here are the times and locations of services that will kick off Fostering Our Future this Sunday:

First Christian Church of Kissimmee at 9:30am and 11:00am
The Vine Church at 9:00am, 10:30am, and 12:00pm
Living Water Fellowship at 9:00am, 11:00am, and 1:00pm

Are you going to be part of the solution?
Each of our partnering churches will be looking for 3 foster families, 2 respite families, and 9 volunteers to make up a Foster Care Support Team. Foster Care Support Teams consist of support volunteers who are assigned to a particular foster family and are committed to providing meals, babysitting, transportation, or other practical help to that family. Foster families who are surrounded by a Foster Care Support Team are able to serve more children over longer periods of time and provide a safer and more stable environment to their nuclear family and foster children.
Let's change the way we care for vulnerable children in Osceola County

Osceola Church: New Church Partners
Five new strategic church partners by Fall of 2016; Spiritual awakening among pastors and local lay-leaders to join the Osceola Compassion Movement;
 Increase the number of Christians to awaken to the spiritual harvest in our local community through foster care ministry.

Osceola Compassion Movement
Pray that God would raise up people in many churches throughout our community to launch foster care ministries, and that many of these ministries would, as part of their mission, become engaged with the Osceola Compassion Community Movement; Pray that more and more church leaders would respond to the needs in foster care and would actively engage as Fostering Our Future Strategic Church Partners; Pray that believers all over the Osceola Community would be consumed with compassion for the children in foster care, and would make themselves available for how God wants to use them; Pray that believers in our county would be unified in Christ and that our unity around this issue would draw others to Him; Ask God what He would have us do in the future in relation to the foster care system and the children and families it serves.
Thank you to all our sponsors in helping our at risk youth as they overcome the issues of abuse, neglect, and abandonment.
