It's time to move onto my next idea.

Now that Dominic & Claire Circus has seen all its Kickstarter rewards sent out, I'm hard at work on a new idea.

With the coronavirus pandemic still affecting us, I have had time on my hands to prepare an idea I've been working on for awhile now.

On Monday June 1, I will be launching a webcomic (resembling more of a traditional newspaper comic strip) called Poison Ivy Gulch.  Poison Ivy Gulch takes place in the old West sometime in the 1870s and revolves around a cast of stock Western characters.  The protagonist is a redhead female gambler named Lotta Doler.  Accompanying her is a sidekick, a 9-year-old boy named Ace.  Other characters include a mayor, a local lawman, an undertaker, a hangman and a bearded prospector.

This is a straight up comedy.  Instead of taking cues from John Wayne or Sergio Leone, Poison Ivy Gulch owes more to the newspaper comic Tumbleweeds or the hilarious parody Blazing Saddles.

The projected launch date is June 1 and updates are twice a week on Mondays & Wednesdays.  I do have high hopes for this work as I am studying how to get traffic to the work and also potential for book collections in the future.

Check out the official website for Poison Ivy Gulch.  It is on track to launch and I plan to make it memorable.
