Buckingham - Winslow Cycleway Extension (Phase 2) Construction

Bulletin #001 - 18/03/2019
Dear Residents and Businesses,
Welcome to the first information Bulletin for the Buckingham to Winslow Cycleway Extension Scheme (Phase 2) providing progress and works information on the implementation of the scheme.

The Buckingham to Winslow cycleway extension scheme is a continuation of the cycling and walking improvements already completed along the A413 from Winslow town centre to the Lace Hill roundabout in Buckingham. The scheme will complete the link between Winslow and Buckingham town centres. The scheme is funded by developer contributions of £350,000.

The extension scheme is being delivered in two phases. Construction of Phase 1 of the scheme
, linking London Road with the town centre through Badgers estate, Cornwalls Meadow and Stratford Fields was completed in September 2018.

Construction of Phase 2 of the scheme – a shared cycle-footway on the western side of A413 London Road providing connections to the Swan Pool, The Buckingham School and The Royal Latin School – will commence on 27 March 2019. It is anticipated that the construction works will take approximately 10 weeks to complete.
