This Saturday: Come out and learn more about how to be your own best bike advocate!

It's time for our annual springtime symposium and social! This year we'll be talking advocacy and how we can work together to affect change that will make Ottawa a better cycling city. Doors will open at 12:30, and the official program will begin at 1:00pm at Jean Piggott Place, City Hall (110 Laurier Avenue West).

In addition to time to socialize, enjoy some complementary refreshments, visit our exhibitors, and hear some brief announcements and updates on all things bike-related in Ottawa, the program will include two featured segments that will help us all to up our bike advocacy game:
  • A presentation on Bike Ottawa's data project, "Mapping and analyzing levels of traffic stress in key areas throughout the city"
  • A panel discussion on bike advocacy, featuring experts from the City of Ottawa, the NCC, Alta Planning + Design, and Canada Bikes, as well as our very own Advocacy Working Group
The event is free and you don't need to bring your tickets, but please take a moment to register so we know how many people to expect.

Please note that due to venue restrictions we will not be able to sell memberships onsite at this event, so if you are interested in joining Bike Ottawa or renewing your membership, please do so online.

Happy Spring, and we hope to see you there!
