Direct from the farmers

Haloumi, Kransky and Gai Lan
Haloumi:  Dreaming Goat Dairy has now scaled-up enough to supply more farmers’ markets with their delicious fresh goats’ milk cheeses.  The haloumi is delicious grilled with vegetables or shredded into salads with ripe peaches and rocket.  Find them at Woodend this weekend.

Kransky: Freeland Pork has expanded their range of smallgoods to include cheese kranskies made by their butcher using their free-range pork – taste the difference!  Catch up with them at Eltham this Sunday.

Gai Lan: Peninsula Fresh Organics grow top-quality certified organic vegetables including bok choy, choy sum and gai lan, also called Chinese broccoli.  Pick some up to cook during the Lunar New Year at Coburg, Kingston, Veg Out, or Eltham.
