Recap of last weekend - adapting and keeping going

Shopping at farmers' markets and staying safe

Another weekend - another chance to buy locally-grown, in-season produce from farmers and small businesses in our community.

Thank you for being part of it all!

We are so privileged that food markets are still essential gatherings, because this state-wide local food system that we all support is unique in Australia and right now it's bringing us abundant and delicious produce straight from the heart - of our farms and of our commercial kitchens.

The markets that are still running are taking their responsibility to traders and shoppers very seriously, so they may look a little different to what we're used to.

Some markets have closed, either to protect their locals or because of council decisions.  Some traders have put their attendance on hold for now, because the risks to their families or businesses are too great.  We'll keep you in touch with them so that we can all reconnect when it's time.
