Managing dependencies like a boss 😎

Hello JavaScript Air friends!

Join us as we chat with Ashley Williams (@ag_dubs), Stephan Bönnemann (@boennemann), and Ben Coe (@BenjaminCoe) for Episode 36: Managing Dependencies like a boss! 😎

The average npm project has 100 dependencies and sub-dependencies. Managing these dependencies can be challenging. We’re going to talk with the great people behind DependencyCILibraries.io, and Greenkeeper.io about how to make managing these dependencies easier.

From this episode:

“I really believe strongly in trying to contribute and moving the whole community forward rather than trying to invent it yourself. I think there’s a lot of value to that because there’s 300,000 modules in the npm ecosystem – I can’t wait for there to be 300,000 more if we need them – but if you’d be better off contributing to one of the existing 300,000 modules, I’d rather see those 300,000 get better and better.”
