School Safety

Dear Families,

As always, the top priority of our school community—and a primary focus of the district’s strategic plan—is the safety and well-being of our students and staff. To foster that environment, we research and practice the best school safety protocols and work with local law enforcement as critical partners to seek every opportunity to ensure our students and staff are safe. To keep you informed, we would like to share the language we use and potential responses we employ in crisis situations. Please know that if a SHELTER IN PLACE or ACTIVE THREAT is initiated at your child’s school, you will be informed and asked to await further updates and/or instructions. View Crisis Response Procedures Infographic

Nutritional Services
Nutritional Services is happy to announce that a la carte will be opening at Tech High School on Wednesday, October 5. It has been a few years since we have had a la carte so we wanted to provide a few reminders. Students must have money in their account prior to purchasing items from a la carte. Parents and students can add money to their account in a few ways, online with a credit card through RevTrak, or cash or checks can be dropped off in the lock box in the school front office. Cash will NOT be accepted in the a la carte line. We are excited to offer more options to our students.
Student Parking Lot
Beginning Wednesday, October 12, all cars in the student parking lot will need to have a student permit sticker attached to their window.  Parking passes may be bought online through the Online Activities Registration link found on the activities page within our website.  Parking passes are $100 ($40 for reduced lunch and $20 for free lunch status) for the school year.  Register for a student parking pass here.  Click on “Tech Parking” within the link.
