|Hello The Ones!
We hope all is well in the world of your making.
Our note this week is full of good reads, anarchist messaging and zeros. Conscious living is the game, into which we weave big ideas, big questions and healthy doses of discomfort. Why? Because we don't want to stay uncomfortable for long, we get active, we experiment, we make changes, until that feeling goes away. That's progress, folks. It doesn't make front page headlines but it oils the very wheels upon which all life moves forward.
Watch: A change from our regular programming - we chat for a few mins about The Learner, its origins, what is means and why (we think) it counts. Here (p.s. spot HK's favoured phrase that she repeats systematically. It's quite impressive really).
DISCOVER: We asked physicist, author (Seven Brief Lessons on Physics) and general cool human being Carlo Rovelli, if he could have #JustOne billboard, what would it say, and where would it go? Here is his response!
A Quote: Flipping through Rumi this line caught us, 'know opposites through their own opposite!' (1876). It's a profound statement about duality, temperance, balance. In a moment we may feel sad, confused, overwhelmed, but twinned with these emotions are their opposites which sit in shadow, waiting to be beckoned forward. Just because we cannot immediately see or feel things, does not mean they do not, nor cannot, exist.
Do: We spoke with the team over at olivapalermo.com to share our latest London finds.
READ: An essay we're currently re-reading, Zero — Invented or Discovered?
That's all for now. Remember, stay curious and tell us what you think of The Learner!
And please reply to this note and tell us what you're interested in at the moment.
