Jet Certification completed - 6 months after engine TC


The SACAA Type certification process for JET Sustainer variant of the JS1, has just been awarded!  This follows the successful completion of the EASA TC of the MD-TJ42 jet turbine by M&D Flugzeugbau at the end of 2015.

 The glider JET era has begun!

The JS1 Selflauncher project progress is on track with several more moulds completed this month including the Binnacle mould, the oxygen bottle bracket, B1, B5 and the seatpan.  This after all the wing moulds are completed.  Check out the progress of this project via the project page link below.

SGP 2016 - AUSTRIA


Bostjan Pristavic, has qualified for the the finals of the 2016 SGP by winning the Austrian 2016 Grand Prix qualification round.  The final of the 2016 SGP will be hosted in November by Potchefstroom Gliding club, South Africa.

The USA 2016 Open, 15m, and Standard Class Nationals was recently completed in Nephi, Utah.   JS was in the privileged position to attend this breathtaking event flying with the top USA pilots.
