Thank you to everyone who took the time to watch CAVEART and support the show. I know it's not the same as a live event but I'm happy I could still share my work with you. I think the video element adds an intimate layer to the experience, you get to view the series from the perspective of the artist which is not very common. Going forward I think I will make a video for each series I do (in addition to a live event) because it acts like a visual artist statement without spelling things out for my viewers. I don't like artist statements because I believe that art should be experienced from a non-biased perspective. By creating a visual tour I can guide the viewer through the story as it was intended to be seen without controlling the experience too much.
