This time of year is often used to reflect on those who are important and as your MP I would like to take this time to focus on those who are important to our community of Saskatoon-Grasswood. Bill Waiser is one of those individuals, receiving the Governor General's ward last month for his book, A World We Have Lost: Saskatchewan before 1905 and his work researching the history of our province. I also met with grade 6-8 students at St. Luke School, the younger leaders in our community.
If you know of an individual in the Saskatoon-Grasswood riding that you believe has made our community and Canada as a whole a better place, I encourage you to nominate that individual for the Saskatoon-Grasswood Canada 150 Citizen Award. Nomination forms can be found online or in the office in Saskatoon.
These past few weeks we have also been wrapping up our research for the Heritage Committee report on media. As a Member of Parliament, my work in committee is important for contributing to informed government decisions. Our report will be available in the New Year.
Again, if you have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to contact or stop by my office.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Kevin Waugh, MP
Saskatoon-Grasswood

**CORRECTION** WINTER 2016 PAMPHLET
|
|
The Winter 2016 pamphlet that you received recently has an error on the last page. In the "Did you Know?" article there is a web address for an e-petition. The petition number should have read 548 rather than 584. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.
