To say these are unprecedented and extraordinary times would be an understatement. In the midst of this pandemic, communities are experiencing widespread school closures, parents are required to work from home or told not to come to work and teachers are valiantly scrambling to flexibly create distance learning plans. The stress and anxiety is palpable. It’s a pointed reminder of the importance of school-home partnerships and the whole child approach to learning.
From "What will I do with my kids all day?" to "What does distance learning look like for a preschooler and early learner?" to "How should I structure my child’s day?" - we have been inundated with questions!
We've been thinking a lot about your requests, and we know it’s a hard time for both parents and teachers. For now, the best we can do is create a plan to juggle it all, cooperate and be kind to one another (in addition to all the public health considerations like social distancing, practicing good hygiene, etc.).
