Upcoming workshops and events
Sergiu Dascalu will provide a guest lecture on "Cyberinfrastructure advances for data-intensive research projects in Nevada" in the WRF Data Science Studio Monday, Apr. 3, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The postdocs and graduate students' lunch will be on Tuesday, Apr. 4, from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Studio. Sayamindu Dasgupta will speak.

At the next Python in Geosciences meeting (Tuesday, Apr. 4, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Studio), Adrian Prananda of MicaSense will give a talk on data processing for remote sensing sensors on drones.

There will be an eScience Executive Meeting on Wednesday, Apr. 5, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Studio.  

Robert E. Kass, Maurice Falk Professor of Statistics & Computational Neuroscience, Carnegie Mellon University, will speak at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 5, in the Physics/Astronomy Auditorium, room A102. He will speak on “The problem of dynamic network analysis”.
