Upcoming workshops and events
We will close early today, Friday, Dec. 28, at 12 p.m., and will be closed Monday, Jan. 1, for New Year's Day.

There will be an Executive Committee Meeting Wednesday, Jan. 3, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the WRF Data Science Studio.

The postdoc and graduate student lunches and the community seminar will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 9.

Imaging
Ariel Rokem, data scientist, and Aaron Y. Lee MD, affiliate, have co-authored, with others, the paper "Fully automated, deep learning segmentation of oxygen-induced retinopathy images" in the journal JCI Insight.

SciPy 2018
Jake VanderPlas, director of open software, will be co-chairing SciPy2018's data science track; submit a talk and poster for the conference now.
