Hackweek publication
Data science fellows Daniela HuppenkothenAnthony Arendt, Jake VanderPlas, and Ariel Rokem, and others, have a new paper published titled "Hack weeks as a model for data science education and collaboration." The paper was featured on UW Today in their press release "Hack week: Study supports collaborative, participant-driven approach for researchers to learn data science from their peers."
Oceanhackweek
It was a pleasure to host this week's Oceanhackweek, an event dedicated to exploring data science in oceanography. Stay tuned for videos and web content on this new offering!
NeuroHackademy

West Data Hub
The all hands meeting of the West Big Data Innovation Hub will be held Sept. 20, in Boise, ID. Register now to attend and join ​data science colleagues from industry, academia, nonprofits, and the government sector.
