On Jan. 11, Susan A. Murphy will speak at the Data Science Seminar on "Assessing moderated effects of mobile health interventions on behavior" at 3:30 p.m. in Johnson Hall, room 102.

The MetroLab Workshop on Big Data and Human Services will be held Jan. 17 and 18, 2017. 

The WRF Data Science Studio will be closed today, Dec. 23, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 for the holidays.
In the news
Daniel Promislow, eScience affiliate and mentor to Alex Franks, postdoctoral fellow, have landed an NIH R03 grant recently to work on metabolomic profiles of patients with Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s diseases. In their analyses they plan to apply novel statistical methodology presented in a paper co-authored by Alex and former eScience affiliate Peter Hoff. The paper can be found here.

Mark Hallenbeck, senior data science fellow, is quoted in The Columbian's article "C-Tran’s paratransit service increasingly popular, expensive."
