Rob Axtell, chair of Computational Social Science at George Mason University, will speak as part of the UW Data Science Seminar series on Nov. 2 at 3:30 p.m. in Johnson 075. His presentation will be on 'Computationally-Enabled Public Policy Using Comprehensive Data.' More information can be found here.
All next week (Oct. 24 - 28), eScience Institute staff will be out of the office. The Institute's data scientist office hours are cancelled, and will resume Oct. 31. However, the Studio will be open for the usual hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
