Oregon Fires force temporary closure, shipping delays
Due to the forest fires in our area, we closed our factory early on Friday and remain closed today. Though much of our neighboring county has been evacuated, we are not directly threatened by fire at this time.

However, air quality in Portland is terrible and is expected to remain so until we get wind and rain later this week. Today, our Air Quality Index (AQI) is around 430 and considered Hazardous to all people.

Because we must open Shipping and Receiving doors frequently during the day, we are concerned about air quality inside our facility and of course as people on the team travel to and from work.

We are closed today and will likely remain closed, or at least not shipping orders out, through Wednesday, September 16. Please plan on a three-day delay to any orders you have in-house with us or that you place this week.

As tough as things are right now, we are proud of our approach to painting and how we have lived our brand promise to take care of you, our people and the planet we share.

We will get through this, too. And we continue to work toward what we call a "Better Normal". We will be a better place to work and we will do a better job than ever for artists and partners. Through it all, we have been making terrific strides against these goals. For the next couple of days, we just need to let the smoke clear.
