#EHMA2019 - YOUR SUSTAINABLE CONFERENCE
|
|
Last year, a number of green initiatives were launched at the EHMA 2018 Annual Conference to ensure that #EHMA2018 was our most environmentally sustainable conference.
At #EHMA2019 we stayed determined to continue on this sustainable trend! The wooden frames in the exhibition area were built from recycled wood. Delegates received a biodegradable bottle to fill up with Finnish tap water to avoid any use of single-use plastic. The Conference pens were made from recycled bottles and lanyards from recycled fabric.

WE HAD SOME FUN!
This year we were pleased to propose our delegates an extra programme which helped to explore the beauty of the destination of EHMA 2019 and left a legacy behind. EHMA 2019 delegates could choose between: Morning Charity Runs, Bird-watching tour and Architecture tour. They could relax and enjoy the company of their peers and create the community of engaged healthcare professionals.
All participants of EHMA 2019 conference were invited to the Welcome Reception at the Espoo Cultural Centre hosted by the Mayor of the City of Espoo!
This year our delegates forgot about their gala outfits and left the high heels and ties at home. The social dinner took place in Nuuksio National Park where participants could explore the beauty of Finnish nature during the White nights season and dive in the midsummer tradition. This time was full of joy and informal friendly chats.
