Coronavirus News Bulletin from APEC CEO Marcus Green
March 19th 2020

Dear <<First Name>>,

In these extraordinary times we have taken extraordinary measures and in the interests of avoiding social contact we’ve decided to immediately mothball the APEC office and our small and dedicated team will all be working from home for the foreseeable future.

We are also postponing all our study days that are booked between now and May- we can’t take NHS staff off the front line whilst they continue to do so much for all of us.

The APEC staff family are all parents of youngsters and we need to balance their needs and those of APEC so the focus will be on getting work done but please understand if we are slower to reply to emails and take a couple more hours to respond to calls.

These measures are proportionate and sensible, they are in all of our interests and will mean APEC can come back stronger and able to do more once this storm has passed.

We can of course only do this with your support, as we’ve said before this is massively disruptive to our cashflow, with the postponement of the Marathon and our Experts Day we are faced with a £22,500 hole in our budget.  We understand if it it not possible but if you can help with a donation of £30 or whatever you can afford, we would be extremely grateful.

Marcus Green
