It's been an exciting last few months at Longtab, and we've made a lot of progress!  As you can see by the picture above, we have received all our furniture and man it is nice!  We will have about 30 seats in the open seating area, nine at the bar, and two more at the front window.  All of our seating is open with both bar tops and standard height tables for families with kids, people with disabilities, etc.

We have also finished our cold room (where the beer is stored), and it's been working great!  Most breweries purchase purpose-made cold rooms kits, but since we needed to use the top of the cold room for storage, grain milling, and as a place for some of the brewery equipment, we needed the cold room to be more structural than what kits usually provide.  We did all the framing, insulation, and a/c installation, and saved $$ in the process!  It also has a super cool (pun intended) web-based temp control mechanism so we can monitor temps from a phone or computer.

The kitchen is also complete.  Since we plan on serving food, mostly heat and serve (nothing fried), we now have a convection oven, two panini makers, and an induction cook top.  We have also passed our health inspections and have received our Food Permit!  Kitchen is good to go!

We have also finalized the details of our brewing system.  This is the proverbial "long pole in the tent" due to its considerable cost.  We are still raising money for the brewing system and associated equipment.  We picked up another investor this past week, so we are excited to be that much closer to the finish line!  We are still searching for investors.  The opening of Longtab is directly related to our ability to get our main brewing system in place and operational!
We also continue to work hard developing our beer lineup and we think you are going to love what we've come up with.  In the last few months, we have brewed two IPAs, a double IPA, an American Lager, a Belgian Honey Blonde, a Scotch Ale, and a Dark Wheat.  It's a constant process of brew (drink), tweak, brew again (drink), repeat.

In other news, we have some updates and additions to our swag shop.  We have restocked our supply of US Army Longtab shirts, and have brought back the black trucker hat color, and added two new hats, Pink and Red which are up in the shop now!  It's worth noting that the last order of hats and shirts was our largest ever, and more than double the last one!

Lastly, we want to thank everyone who has supported us so far.  Without your support, we wouldn't be where we are today.

Cheers, Happy Easter, and DOL!
