August has been a milestone month at the TIMS PMO office as we signed the much-anticipated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Swaziland and Lesotho. This means that these countries are officially on board as the programme catapults into the implementation stage.

NEW PARTNERS SELECTED
In August, the TIMS PMO selected 3 new implementation partners. These are:
ACHAP Implementation of Community Systems Strengthening interventions in all 10 countries
Operating the Occupational Health Service Centres (OHSCs) in 8 countries
Communications Development of a communication strategy for advocacy & awareness in the region.
MEETING NEW PARTNERS
During the month of August, teams from the PMO visited ACHAP and OGRA to get to know our partners better, to discuss the interventions in more detail and importantly, to assess the organisations’ capacity to implement the interventions.
The TIMS PMO was well received and had fruitful discussions in Botswana and Kenya.
A Visit to Meropa Communications’ office is planned for the week commencing 12 September 2016.
