Colette Bardell Satisfy the Hunger
Hi all, it's been a while since I've put out a newsletter, so I’m really pleased to be reconnecting with you.

As I write this, the last mince pies, Christmas puds and other festive fare are finally coming to an end!

I'm all for celebrations and it's wonderful to have the festive break in the middle of the dark nights and cold and damp of Kapha season.
However if, like me, you have over-indulged you might be feeling slow, sluggish and heavy – classic Kapha imbalance. So, now is the time to re-activate, adopt or even ramp up some Ayurvedic tools and techniques to get your equilibrium back and your immune system thriving not just surviving, the final months of winter.

I hope you'll find the information in this December issue something you can use to get you back on track. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions:

Fire up Your Self-Care by Getting to Know Your Agni
Eating healthily after the season of over-indulgence is no bad thing. But good food is only part of the equation to get you back into balance. The strength of your digestive system, or Agni according to Ayurveda, plays a key role in digesting and metabolising all those crucial nutrients.

My Events
I am so excited for 2020 as I have so many events planned where we can share the tools and techniques of Ayurveda to empower ourselves towards more effective self-care.

Jan 28th Nature & Nourish (me and Ellie) will be at the Smart Works Reading Wellness event, where we will be on the panel and giving a self-care workshop.

February 9th I’m back at Yoga Point for a 2-hour mini retreat with yoga and an introduction to Ayurveda.

March 28th a full-day urban retreat in Brixton which I’m co-hosting with my first ever yoga teacher!

May 17th full-day Ayurveda and yoga retreat at the divine Horse Sanctuary, in the glorious Chilterns, just outside London.
