Dear Sheep Vet

It’s been a long time since we have been in touch so please accept our apologies! We have been busy with a number of different & exciting projects - many thanks to all of you who have been working alongside us.

Sheep Scab survey

Please encourage your farmers to complete this survey which aims to understand the opinions, experiences & decisions made by farmers when managing sheep scab.

It only takes 15 minutes to complete & all participants get a chance to win an Apple iPad or one of two £100 vouchers to spend on whatever!

This sheep scab survey is conducted by the University of Nottingham in collaboration with Moredun Research Institute, University of Bristol, University of Glasgow, APHA, SCOPS, BioSS & key industry stakeholders. It is funded by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate.

We very much hope you have already heard about #FarmVetChampions - did you realise that there is over 20 hours of free CPD that every member of your practice team is entitled to access.

The #FarmVetChampion training covers dairy, suckler and youngstock cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, turkeys, laying hens and game birds as well as useful vet-farmer communication skills, the principles of antimicrobial resistance, and need to know facts on the legal and responsible use of medicines in farm animals.
