It’s the hottest thing in publishing.

It’s the savior of traditional publishers seeing their eBook sales plummet.

I’m talking, of course, about audiobooks.

If you’ve been on the Humanlegion.com blog recently, you’ll already know I have plenty of audiobook news for the Human Legion Universe. Even if you’re a fan of the books, but not of audio, it’s still important news: it helps me to stay in business, and that means I get to keep on writing. And writing. Mwahahah!

So I hope you’ll join me in welcoming Walt Robillard, who has joined the team as a narrator. We’re working on the Human Empire audio (book 4 of the Human Legion) but will switch to Chimera Company once the text is firm. Which had better be soon, by the way, because Chimera Company will be up on pre-order next week and out with the public next month.

I’ll tell you more about Walt another time, but suffice to say he’s a Rhode Island resident with a perfect voice for the books and a great taste in swords.

The original audio deal I struck with Tantor Media only covered the first three Legion novels, because that was all I had written at the time. All four remaining novels will be coming out in audio later this year.

It’s going to be a little while before they’re ready to listen to, but if you’re waiting on some audio, the latest Four Horsemen Universe (4HU) audio to feature my work (Tales from the Lyons Den) came out on audio last week, and joins For a Few Credits More and The Midnight Sun as my 4HU audios.

Talking of 4HU, it’s only another three months until the 4HU game is due to launch. It’s my first game Kickstarter and I can’t wait to get playing. There will be photos!

I know that plenty of you discovered Legion Universe books by trialing books I’d posted up on book promo sites such as Instafreebie/ Prolific Works and SFF Book Bonanza. They’ve been around for a few years now and they’re not going away any time soon because they remain an excellent way to try out new authors and new directions for existing authors.

Here are a couple of promotions I have books in at the moment. If you tap on the banners, you’ll find  plenty of great reads to explore.
That’s it for this issue of the Legion Bulletin. I've removed the links I used to add here for the starter library, but you can access them all online in one place here. Thank you for your support.

Enjoy your adventure,

Tim.
