As the months of the pandemic drag on in Atlanta, we want to make our members and regular attenders aware of some of the resources for congregational care that are available to you.

Shepherd's Fund: Our church has a fund to assist those in financial need.  There is a particular piece of the fund that has been set aside to assist those who have hit financial walls as a result of the pandemic.  If you or others you know in the church are in need of short term financial assistance, please contact Kim Goldsmith at to discuss applying for help from the Shepherd's Fund.  This fund is there for times like this, so rather than asking individuals for assistance, please contact Kim and direct people who are asking for assistance to the resource where we as a church can help together.

Prayer: Every week there are multiple ways that we are offering prayer ministry.  You can send an email to  That address is directed to Rev. Megan, Kay (our admin helper) and Kim.  You can let us know if you would like to make an appointment to have someone pray with you over the phone or if you would like the officers and staff to pray for you during their regular times of prayer.  On Wednesday evenings we are holding healing prayer and on Sunday mornings prayer for our transition as a church, both via Zoom.  Email for more information.
Pastoral Care: Megan and Kim are available for listening conversations, and of course, our new Senior Pastor Shayne Wheeler has joined our congregational care world.  If you are in need of a pastoral ear, please reach out for support.  Megan's email address is
Mental Health Care:  The church also has a fund established for the purpose of helping people to get mental health care when cost is a prohibitive factor.  If you are sensing that your mental health needs attention, please don't hesitate to contact either Megan or Kim to request assistance.  Don't let cost be something that keeps you from getting the help that you need.
These days of COVID time can feel very isolating, but the church is still here!  Let us come alongside you if you are feeling in need of connection or assistance.  There are ways that we can draw near to one another as God's children, even as we keep our distance physically.
