For my Earthlings dreaming of distant worlds, this is for you.

Just recently, the same scientists who sent New Horizons to explore my corner of space have produced a video that imagines what it would be like to land on my frozen, icy plains. The movie uses more than 100 images taken by New Horizons during its historical flyby back in July 2015.

But, since most images were black-and-white, they had to go one step further to deduce my colors by combining the panchromatic photos with the lo-res ones taken by the "Ralph" color camera aboard New Horizons. Alas, they did it.

Let's dive in.

A Colorful "Landing" on Pluto
Thank you for traveling those long 9.5 years and 3 billion miles to say hi.

Come again soon.
With love
from my icy heart
