News from WORK:
OMG! It's a lot of work being a small business owner! As all of you out there trying to "do-it-yourself" know, there is an endless list of tasks to keep up with. Every week I go to work on this newsletter, it feels like a rabbit hole. Obviously, each week we add more events, which means finding speakers and then getting the info we need, posting to Meetup, creating the new page on our website, creating social media post graphics and trying to think up clever hashtags.

But there are other hidden tasks that catch me by surprise, like wanting to add a simple thing like the Climate WORK post below. My idea was to invite you all to support our increasing efforts with a Friends of WORK Membership. But then I saw that the Friends page on our website needed some work, so I fixed that up. But that page then links to our Climate WORK Green Credentials Page, which turns out also needed some work. Plus, two big perks of the Friends Membership are our Coffee Social and Study Hall Accountability Group, but both of those needed updated webpages, as well - which means more images to be found and edited and more content to be created...and so on and so forth.

And then a few hours go by and I remember that it was this newsletter I was supposed to be working on! So that's the behind-the-scenes peek into what goes into each of these emails. It's all a little imperfect and there is always room for improvement, but know that it is handcrafted with love by your friends at WORK.

:) Natasha

If you love what we're doing and are interested in supporting this effort but are not yet a WORK member, please consider becoming a Friend of WORK. This membership gives you a bundle of valuable perks while helping us keep the lights on (LEDs powered by renewable energy, of course ;) and great programs coming your way.

In today’s high speed, high pressure and high-stress world, there are so many things that we have to balance in our lives. When a system is in balance, there is harmony, health, and vitality. When it is out of balance, there is the opposite: volatility and instability. Balance is an essential ingredient to success – in life, health, business, finance, relationships.

Join in to explore the dimensions of balance and the possibilities that greater balance has on our human experience. Be inspired by thought-provoking ideas that are larger than ourselves and help reframe our vision of what is possible.

Let me know if you are going and we'll try to get a WORK crew carpool! :)
