News from WORK:
WORK is hiring! We are looking to fill front desk hours for Monday mornings and all day Wednesdays. If you are looking for a nice local job, please contact me and I will send you the details. We have a friendly, supportive team here that you could join. Email me with the subject line "front desk."

And GREAT BIG thanks to Katie with Kreate Photography for all the new images from the photo shoot she did with us one morning. I slipped one of her pics in the background above and you'll be seeing more fresh snapshots of WORK popping up.

Also, please note that WORK will be CLOSED to drop-ins on Monday, January 20th.

Cheers to you all!

This means they do not have access to funds for predictable life events, like sending a child to school, much less emergencies and the increasing impacts of Climate Change. coWORKer Marie Mintalucci will talk to us about this global problem and how her non-profit organization, WomenSave, plans to help.

Building Equity Literacy in Ourselves: Intensive Review
Sunday, January 26th from 1-5 PM

Through the sharing of our own stories and a deeper reflection on generationally handed-down bias, participants will focus on building language and understanding around power and privilege, internalized oppression, allied behavior and learn to practice strong dialog principles to better serve our beloved communities in highly respectful and empathetic ways.

Dismantling Whiteness Within: Refining our Allied Behavior
Sunday, February 9th from 1-5 PM

In this workshop we will create a model learning space where people who receive white privilege in society can reflect on how internalized privilege and oppression affects our behaviors, language and attitudes.
(This workshop is building off of the 2019 fall trainings and the January 26th Intensive Review. If you did not attend the 2019 TIDE trainings, please sign up for the January 26th Intensive Review before taking this training.)
