Good morning everyone. I am writing this in the morning but you may be reading it in the afternoon, evening, or . . .at midnight! A well known cure for insomnia is buying books online. Did I digress again?

Amidst everything that is going on in the world we at Caversham have an additionally sad week. Our extraordinary Sam is heading off to other opportunities. Many of you know Sam. For those of you that do not why don't I tell you about her? Sam is our exquisite social media representative on instagram, facebook, and beyond. She has also done an exemplary job of organizing our textbooks these past years. This is all in addition to her tireless customer service while saying nothing of the irreplaceable coworker and friend that she has become for us all. A void there shall be and some tears will be shed and some virtual hugs mimed about. We wish Sam well in her next endeavour and we look forward to the next time we see her. She may be into books you see. We are a bookstore. Sam—books—bookstore—lookthereisSam! Speaking of books I dare say there are more new July titles on our July new release list.

And how? what a question. I have no answer to this question. What I do have is a soapbox on an email list with children's books as this week's theme. The picture that accompanies this blurb is Sam's Munchkin. Keep your sticks on the ice.
