WORKSHOP

Parents who attended Messenger's ‘Parenting Help’ seminars in June told us that the sessions were “extremely beneficial in understanding how teens work” saying they particularly liked the “interactive activities, information on anxiety and depression and the practical strategies.”

Due to the success of these fully booked workshops and requests for further sessions, the Messengers Program are offering two more free seminars for challenged parents of adolescents on September 9th & 12th from 5.30 – 7.30pm.

Facilitated by social workers, Sarah O’Sullivan and Gretel Burgess, the sessions will be held at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre and are designed to improve knowledge of adolescent development and confidence in using strategies to parent a teenager with a mental health focus.

Bookings are essential. Email us at messengers@tuggeranongarts.com or 6293 2212 to register for these workshops.
