Welcome back to our weekly decluttering challenge.
This week it's the Linen Refresh Project
Last week we tackled the laundry room and this week, we're moving on to the linen closet.
It's easy for the linen closet to become cluttered with old towels, sheets and blankets. But don't worry, with a little effort, you can transform this space into a more calming and functional area.
Use a timer for each task.
Here are three 15-minute decluttering tasks to get you started:
Task 1: Purge old towels and sheets.
-
Go through your towels and sheets and remove any that are torn, stained, or beyond repair.
-
Donate any items that are in good condition but that you no longer need or use.
Task 2: Eliminate duplicates
-
Check to see if you have duplicates of any items.
-
Keep one of each item and donate the rest.
Task 3: Review pillow collection
-
Do you have a collection of old or flat pillows?
-
Consider discarding them or donating them to an animal shelter.
This guide provides valuable information to help you declutter your linen closet and make space for linens you actually use.

* Challenge yourself to complete all three tasks this week and mark them in your calendar or agenda.*
You'll be amazed at the progress you can make 15 minutes at a time.
