Message from Mark and Tina

We are certainly missing seeing you all and cruising together. In 2 days we would have been boarding our Hawaii cruise in Honolulu. We are in unprecedented times and our hopes are that you are all remaining home and healthy.   As soon as Royal is cruising again safely we will be cruising.  At this point we are optimistic to have our planned fall cruising season.
It's now week 8 of our lock down in Las Vegas and it is certainly a different Vegas than you all have known.  Judy, Don, Mark and I are manning the phones from the comfort of our own homes and we wanted to let you all know that we are here if you have any questions.  Royal Caribbean has been working tirelessly on the cancellations for the April 26th Galveston cruise and the 7th May Hawaii cruise.  We know that the 100% cash refunds can take up to 45 days to be seen back on your credit cards, and they are now starting work on issuing the Future Cruise Credits if you opted for 125% FCC's in place of the cash refund. We thank you for your patience and understanding. 

As we receive updates from Royal Caribbean we will definitely keep you posted. Last update - Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.® extended the suspension of global operations for sailings scheduled to depart on or before June 11, 2020.  We are sure to hear an update from them in the next 1 - 2 weeks.

Message from Linda Johnson and Jan Fisher

Our last cruise was in January when we hosted more than 500 passengers for the HPT annual event. This is the longest we have gone without cruising since our company was founded in December 1992 and we certainly miss it. Over the past 28 years, Jan and I have been blessed to have so many amazing memories from more than 300 voyages around the world. We've had the good fortune to meet so many customers who have become friends and family to us.
We miss you a great deal and hope you are staying safe during these trying times. We look forward to the time when it is safe to cruise again. When that time comes, we will be there to greet you and share more good times. We are sending you virtual hugs until then.

New Information from Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean sent out a newsletter earlier today - 05/05/2020
Health Requirements :
  • We are currently laser-focused on additional safety enhancements for our return to service.
  • To develop our future boarding screening process and updated health protocols, we are collaborating with government health authorities, the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), and our own team of medical experts. These are not yet finalized, but when they are, we will be sure to advise accordingly.
  • We know that our 70+ guests and those with chronic conditions are especially eager to understand what cruising will look like in the future. While subject to change, via the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA), we have confirmed that the previous restriction requiring a doctor’s note was lifted in early April after cruise lines suspended service.
  • Please know that every decision we make, and all of the fine-tuning we do, has you/your client’s well-being in mind. We miss you and your clients – and can’t wait to welcome you back onboard.

To comply with guidance from CDC, WHO and other public health authorities around the world, we are implementing several global measures to protect guests and crew. We have rigorous medical protocols in place to help passengers and crew members who feel unwell while sailing. Our protocols include professional medical treatment, quarantine of unwell individuals from the general ship population, and intensified ship cleaning, air filtration, and sanitization procedures detailed below:

  1. Before and after all sailings, embarkation terminals and ship access points are being thoroughly sanitized.
  2. Enhanced sanitation efforts are in place for all high traffic areas onboard. Every evening, electrostatic sprayers (a method of cleaning & disinfecting that fully covers a surface) will be used in all public areas and public restrooms.
  3. During each sailing, the Captain will make two announcements each day to remind guests to wash their hands often, use recommended coughing etiquette, and report any high fever or influenza-like illness symptoms immediately.
  4. Extra medical staff have been added onboard and complimentary medical consultations are offered before and during each sailing.
