2020 Palmetto Council Virtual 5K

Join us for a virtual 5K and fun run benefitting the Palmetto Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Once you register, you will receive an invitation to participate in our fundraiser portion fo the run. There will not be a physical meeting, you choose where and when you want to complete your challenge within the allocated timeframe.

Dates: October 23 - 30, 2020

Cost: Individual entry $15; Family entry $25 (no limit on number of family members who can participate)

Martha's Mission

Year 8 of Martha's Mission is in full swing. Help Bubble Wrap honor his daughter by donating Diapers and Wipes. All Diapers will be collected through Oct 4th (Her Birthday) and distributed locally to organizations in need. Love Our Neighbor Fundraiser

10/3/2020 7:00:00  We and our families & friends have the opportunity to serve in a different way at Bethel Men's Shelter on Oct. 3. The Shelter hosts a one-day annual Love Our Neighbor BBQ sale to raise community awareness of the homeless population around us, encourage and garner more volunteers, and to raise funds to increase their impact in the lives of the men they serve. Runners Simply Looking to Run with Other Runners to Push and Support One Another

And, in many instances, various things have been postponed or cancelled given the circumstances surrounding 2020. So, the intent of this informal, unofficial thing is to just bring runners together to go out and run no matter the level whether it be a couch to 5K run all the way up to pushing through a full marathon. The Construction Of Legacy

Only a Virtuous Leader can leave a Legacy

The Leave Right is the fourth quadrant of the G3L. In the first quadrant we explored what a man must do to Get Right, to be in proper personal alignment. In the second quadrant we discussed what it means for a HIM to Live Right through dedication to Purposefulness. In the third quadrant we outlined the Practice of Virtuous Leadership that is required to Lead Right. Now, having arrived at the fourth and final quadrant of the G3L, we take on the Leave Right, which is a Virtuous Leader’s construction of Legacy.

Legacy is what a Virtuous Leader leaves behind through the Effective performance of his Mission, which is the Course Of Action he pursues to achieve his Ultimate Purpose. A man’s Legacy has two components: READ MORE
