On August 1, Hoopla borrows stepped down to 6 per month per library card. On September 1, Hoopla borrows will return to 4 per month. We will be slowly returning to our original borrow limits now that we are lending physical materials through curbside borrowing and GMILCS holds are available again. Visit our Digital Reading page for details about all of our digital reading services.

Sharing Between GMILCS Libraries Has Resumed

We are thrilled with how well lending and borrowing from fellow GMILCS libraries has been going since resuming on July 13. Your Nesmith Library card allows you to request items from GMILCS libraries, to be delivered to our branch or for you to pick up at the other libraries.
Please consider responding to our community survey: we are looking for submissions from residents of all ages of Windham. Respond using our Google Form, or visit our website to learn more!

Use our new Ask a Librarian web chat service to ask questions directly from our website! When this block is visible on our website, it means one of our dedicated librarians is available to chat.
  • We have shared a lot of updates as the situation has evolved in town and in the world. We hope we have reached a lot of our patrons, but we know there are people who use the library who won't see our posts on Facebook, etc. Please call your neighbors, friends, and family who may have missed these updates, and who may benefit from our services and resources. Please encourage them to reach out to us with any questions at all and we will do our best to help!
  • We hope everyone in the community knows that Nesmith librarians are still here to support you, whether it's through exciting programs for all ages on our Event Calendar, grab bags of recommended reading selected by library staff, virtual browsing videos, or digital reading apps you can access with your library card.
Please continue to check our website for resources and updates, or follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Thank you.
