Youth Services staff Azra, Chris, and Molly have made Google Slides into a Virtual Children's Room you can enjoy together from home any time!

Closed for the Holiday, Monday, January 18: There will be no curbside service or phone calls answered while we are closed for the federal holiday, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Please send any questions to info@nesmithlibrary.org and we will respond right away on Tuesday, January 19! In the meantime, why not explore some of our digital resources: start with this 1968 Chicago Daily News reflection on MLK Jr., and then consider searching for news articles and genealogy references in the many newspapers available through the NewsBank search platform: log in using your library card barcode and PIN to access NewsBank and GenealogyBank!

Virtual Preschool Storytime:

Like previous Preschool storytimes, this will be an 'independent' storytime. We encourage caregivers to help with logging in, and then give their children space to participate on their own.

Tween Foodie Challenge
Pick Up on Wednesday, January 20, during curbside
Registration Required for Tweens in grades 5-8 (ages 10-14)

Do you like food? Do you like cooking? Do you like experiments? Then this challenge is for you! We'll be providing you with mystery ingredients for you to take home, and using the supplies in your own kitchen, try to create something delicious! Register using the form on our website (please register with the tween's name, not parent's name) and then stop by Wednesday, January 20 during curbside hours (10 AM-7 PM) to pick up your kit!

Adult Takeaway Craft: Air-Dry Clay Trinket Dish

For Adults 16 & up, While Supplies Last. One per Windham household, please!

We are suspending LIMITED OPEN HOURS. We have returned to Curbside Borrowing Only. Limited computer appointments continue, and we are still here to help: please call with any questions!

CURBSIDE BORROWING

  • Hours: Mondays-Thursdays, 10 AM-7 PM, Fridays, 10 AM-4 PM, and Saturdays, 10 AM-3 PM
  • Curbside Borrowing Instructions: We are lending library items and offering print/copy services.
  • Try a Mystery Grab Bag: we will happily do the browsing for you!

COMPUTER APPOINTMENTS

  • Hours: Mondays-Saturdays, call (603) 432-7154 to schedule
  • Appointments will be limited to 1 hour.
  • Face coverings are required to be worn for the duration.

BOOK DROP

  • The exterior book drop is open 24/7 for you to return borrowed items. Please call us if you have an item to return which will not fit in the book drop. We are not accepting book donations at this time.
