Nesmith Librarians are still here to help you.
Library staff will be answering email at info@nesmithlibrary.org, or you can reach specific staff members through the emails on our Contact Us Page.
CLOSURE EXTENDED THROUGH MAY 4:
- In compliance with the guidance from the State of New Hampshire, our library director and trustees have decided that the Nesmith Library will remain closed to the public through 5/4/2020.
PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD:
- We have shared a lot of updates as the situation has evolved in town and in the world. We hope we have reached a lot of our patrons, but we know there are people who use the library who won't see our posts on Facebook, etc. Please call your neighbors, friends, and family who may have missed these updates, and who may benefit from our services and resources. We hope everyone in the community knows that Nesmith librarians are still here to support you, whether it's through research databases to help with your remote learning, digital reading apps you can access with your library card, or free virtual resources available without a library card. Please email us or send us a Facebook message with any questions at all and we will do our best to help!
NEW VIRTUAL SERVICES:
- Nesmith Librarians are compiling free virtual resources on our website to add to the digital resources we offer to cardholders. Visit these pages as we update them, whenever you are looking for education, entertainment, or just engagement with the outside world!
- Our Children's Department is working to connect with our storytime families despite the closure. Join us on Wednesdays for Busy Bees Coffee Hour, a virtual meeting on Zoom for caregivers of Busy Bees babies, and watch for more virtual content to come soon for Toddler Time!
LIBRARY BUILDING SERVICES:
- There is free Wifi available from the benches and parking lot at the library building (two open networks as well as a secured network with the password posted on our front door: try this if a network near you doesn't have a strong enough connection for something you are trying to do).
- We have tax forms printed and available to take by the front door of our building. Individuals and some corporations have been granted an automatic extension for the due date to file, which is now July 15, 2020. Learn more at IRS.gov.
Please continue to check our website for resources and updates, or follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Thank you.
