Cherries are ripe!

Cherries (both sweet and tart varieties) are ripe and ready to pick so until further notice, we are open daily from 8AM-4PM, including the July 4th holiday!  The cherry season is going to be short this year given the heat so it's best to come soon!

We expect blueberries to be ready on or after July 4th.  Please check our website for updates. Starting Thurs 7/5, we will be open weekly from Thurs-Sun 8am-4pm, our typical summer schedule.

Sorry it's been a while!

We have so many exciting updates to report, including our transition to biointensive orchard management our current construction projects and our new cider apple orchard. We look forward to sharing details on our website blog and newsletter throughout the summer.
In the meantime, we are posting live updates, extended hours and special events to Instagram and Facebook every few days. For example, tomorrow, Sunday 7/1, we are hosting a free icecream (featuring our homemade cherry sauce!) afternoon between 1pm and 3pm.

Sunday Sundaes!

Tomorrow, Sunday 7/1, we are hosting an ice cream afternoon, starting at 1:00pm and until supplies last. Back by popular demand we will offer our tart cherry sauce. Free and no registration necessary. Happy early July 4th!  Details here

Construction Progress

For details, read our recent posts: installing the cupola and salvage timbers

The original 1800s barn burnt down and was rebuilt ~1910. In early 2017 a wind storm again destroyed the roof - it was time to rebuild. During disassembly we discovered timbers dating back to several periods, some white oak but mostly chestnut. The shell is complete and now we are reassembling the original timber frame inside. The lower level will contain a facility for producing hard cider and the main floor will house a tasting room with sweeping views of the orchards.
