We think you'll agree there are few things better than cider donuts.  We are pleased to announce tomorrow (8/4) is Opening Day for our Donut Peaches and they are ripe and ready for picking!  Visit soon while they last.  With the gorgeous weather last weekend, we had an incredible turnout and by Sunday the peach and blueberry picking were a bit thin. We recommend visiting earlier in the weekend if possible!

For a healthy and refreshing and perfectly seasonal treat, see the recipe we posted for Blueberry Peaches and Cream Smoothie. Enjoy the season's bounty!
Our resident beekeeper, Chris Belardi (Dr. B), and his team have made exciting progress this season on the expansion of our Rose Hill Farm Apiary.  This spring he introduced a trio of new hives, painted a lovely dusty rose, located next to our blueberry field.  On July 15th, our team witnessed a swarm originating from the yellow-green-blue hives introduced in 2016 (affectionately known as Humble, Hope and Harmony).  Dr. B and Farmer Kevin bravely suited up and corralled this swarm into a 5 frame NUC and then into a temporary hive.

We are expanding our special events and workshops at Rose Hill Farm.  If you missed our July 4th Red White and Blue Ice Cream Afternoon or our special Evening Blueberry Picking last weekend, please be sure to follow our Instagram and Facebook pages where we post last minute events and updates.  Please stay tuned for future events such as Bard College Day in late August and a Honey Spinning Workshop in mid-September.

Short on time? Our Farmstand is stocked with eggs from our pasture raised heritage breed hens, RHF pastured pork (sausage, bacon, chops, etc), bunches of freshly cut flowers and herbs, and plenty of pre-picked blueberries, plums and peaches. Feel free to stop by outside of PYO hours as the farmstand is setup for self service.
